2016 Made in Montana Tradeshow

A small business is defined as a company that has fewer than 500 employees. It is estimated that since 1990, small business have created 8 million jobs while large companies have eliminated 4 million. According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, approximately 230,000 people in Montana are employed by small businesses. 68% of the businesses in Montana have less than 100 employees while 30% of the businesses have less than 20.

The annual Made in Montana Tradeshow for Food and Gifts will be held March 11th - 12th in Helena (Lewis & Clark County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall). 143 different companies will be in attendance while 52 will be first time exhibitors. Saturday will be open to the public during the Product Showcase day from 9 AM – 5 PM.

Alpine Touch is excited to be part of this year’s event. We ask you to visit booth #702, and introduce yourself! We have a surprise that will be revealed at the show. CBS forgot to air our $4 million, 30 second Super Bowl ad so the show is that much more important. Please tell your friends, family, coworkers, teachers, students, neighbors, and Facebook friends (even the ones you can’t stand). In other words, spread the word! There will be free samples and product for sale. Thank you for your support!

For those of you out of state, feeling left out, you’re welcome to visit our Spice Rack.

On a completely unrelated note, we want to congratulate Joan Leskowsky Washburn for winning our Super Bowl contest. We went ahead and sent Joan her prize even though she is a big New England Patriots’ fan. Joan can be assured that her bottle was not deflated upon arrival (corny joke). Thanks to everybody who guessed. We will have another contest during March Madness!
